About Us
Kirkwood Pediatrics is an independent pediatric primary care practice founded and led by Dr. Emily Peitzman in 2025.
We were built around two simple principles:
— Small by design: children and families do best when they're cared for by people who know them, over time, with tremendous care and compassion. Continuity isn't a buzzword for us, it’s why we started KP.
— A place employees love to be: everyone who works at KP is passionate about their work, respected, and looks out for each other. Too many cultures in medicine are broken, impacting happiness and patient care. We're building the practice culture that we know is possible.
This role is a milestone for our practice. You would be our first physician hire beyond our founder. We are growing faster than anticipated, which means you'll help shape how KP grows from one doctor to four.

Board-certified in pediatrics
Work 4 days/week within ~6 months of starting. Welcome to start at 2–3 days/week.
5+ years specifically of outpatient pediatric primary care experience
